Willow Urban Retreat aims to deliver a 360-degree approach to health and wellbeing, promoting wholeness and balance through holistic health and movement programs, education and events, and unique spa treatments.
Liston Newton Bookkeeping helped owner Jeremy Basset, successfully build and scale Willow Urban Retreat in High Street, Armadale. The upscale café has three separate revenue streams across Yoga Studios, Spa Treatments and Food/Drink.
After taking over as owner of Willow Urban Retreat, Jeremy Basset required in-depth monthly management reports to understand the financial performance of each of the three business units, and also needed help integrating a range of software across each revenue stream (Timely, Deputy, Kounta and Stripe).
This was a complex problem that required a different solution for each revenue stream.
Liston Newton Bookkeeping worked successfully with Jeremy to build a reliable and informative finance function that clearly identified the financial performance of each revenue stream, and set the business up for success. Each month the bookkeeping team assists Jeremy with bank reconciliation, supplier payments, payroll, and superannuation, and BAS lodgements.
Jeremy can now focus less on the daily finance tasks and more on delivering an outstanding experience for customers of Willow Urban Retreat. Since launching, the business has won various industry awards including ‘Best Healthy Eating Cafe & Spa’.
